The GeneralsJoes July Review-A-Rama continues on strong thanks to Hasbro’s Public Relations team… A nice surprise package in the mail late last week provided me with the two San Diego ComicCon Exclusive Sgt. Slaughters that are hitting lucky collectors this weekend at ComicCon.
I’ve reviewed them both and for lack of a better place, linked the review on the Pursuit of Cobra page. You can, of course, also check it out here.
why wouldn’t they be in the 25th Anniversary section?
They are clearly new mold versions of old figures on classic cardback.
Thank you Hawk! I’ve wanted to work shouting Duke into a joke for the longest time, but just wasn’t able to. You’ve fixed this problem for me.
Oh, and thank you for the review as well! I honestly didn’t care about him, but if he’s available on hasbro toyshop, then I might pick up the variant if I can.
Man, if the “Variant” came with the wrestling belt I’d be stoked; what a cool accessory. Still, if it’s available from HTS I’ll probably pick it up, I’ve got some fond memories of Sarge from GI Joe: The Movie.
To quote Tom Tucker…I’m sure you’re all with me when I say, “Congratulations, you son of a bitch.”
I guess you won’t have to stalk HTS the day after now.
I really hope this doesn’t start a trend of variants coming with different accessories, that could be annoying.
Hawkwinter – Brilliant! Why didn’t I think of that. Link has been added to the Anniversary section.
