JoeIntel.com is quickly making a name for itself as a “go to” site for some great G.I. Joe tidbits, and it continues the tradition with a very nice assortment of images of the unreleased “Training Snake Eyes”. This figure was a Resolute Comic Pack figure, originally slated to come with Night Creeper, but never got released to retail. Just looking at the figure itself, it doesn’t really seem to fit the Rise of COBRA aesthetic, so I’m not sure it’s something we’ll ever see at this point. That wave of comic packs was originally going to feature Duke (Scuba) vs. Lamprey as well as Snake Eyes (Training) vs. Night Creeper.
notpicard from JoeIntel managed to get his hands on this very unique item, and was gracious enough to share images on JoeIntel, and allow GeneralsJoes to host them as well. Like Storm Shadow (who came with some Dice-like accessories), Snake Eyes comes with some similar gear as Slice did back in the vintage days. Check out the thread at JoeIntel here, and take a peek at the images below.

I dig Snake Eyes’ hookswords.
Would he have come with unique articulation that would have enabled him to perform the 7th Step??
Yeah, we didn’t miss anything. No new accessories, the only new part is the head; a head which at this time has no name.
MAN! I wish this one would have come out! I would have completed the Slice and Dice thing they had going on. Storm Shadow came with the Dice mask, and this one comes with the Slice mask! Heck, it even has hook swords, one of which Slice even used! (Not to mention Storm Shadow coming with the halberd and axe like Dice did). Such a strange way to work in those characters but, given the fact that these are just more SS and SE figures, I totally wouldn’t mind updating thier looks! They would match as well!
Would be cool if I could find a way to get ahold of that Slice mask….I wana make my own.
I would have liked to have seen this out just for the ability to have a 25th Slice and Dice.
Any chances of this snake eyes coming out? maybe as part of the horribly dreadful RoC line? maybe as a “ninja training snake-eyes”? That’s the kind of cheesy names hasbro is coming up with these days; “arctic shipwreck”? and not even a little scarf for good o’l polly? Monsters!
