It’s been a little while since the first shipment of the latest Figure Subscription Service figures hit mailboxes, and while my review time was interrupted for a short bit due to Vitruvian HACKS, I have now completed reviews for the first two figures, Law & Order and Nunchuk.
As an added bonus, I’ve also worked up video reviews of them both as well, just to cover all bases.
You can check out links to these reviews on my G.I. Joe Collectors Club page, or via the direct links below.
Great reviews, as usual. Now regarding Law and Order’s missing silencer: while I applaud your easygoing attitude
regarding the missing piece, as I TOO have a ton, I don’t think it’s
easily excusable in a collector’s format figure, for the price. I also
have a ton of those pistols and plenty of Uzis. Would it be permissible
for the production to have missed those being packed in, simply because they are a common item?
This is the kind of issue that shines a light on the inherent problems with an FSS. The low-run, plus the high-price, means issues like this can’t be fixed post release, and when a figure costs $25+, every little bit of plastic and paint counts more than when it’s a two-pack for $15.
