And just like that it’s gone
I freakin missed it. Hopefully my friend gets me one there……I’m sick of missing out on these…
Unbelievable!! It’s gone just like that. TRU should change their policy to only 1 per residential address.
How come they have everything in stock except the one item I wanted to buy?
I was on exactly at 10am and got one. I’m pretty sure it was gone in less than ten minutes.
They went up at 9am CST Thursday and were sold out by some time around 10:30am CST. So, roughly and hour and a half as I ordered mine just after 9am.
How fast did they go? I looked an hour after they came out and they were already gone.
They hit “sold out” in about 15-20 minutes. Then popped up in onesies and twosies throughout the rest of the day.
Chances are that some of the double-to-the-same-address answers were getting canceled. There may be a few more to come. TRU did indeed cancel multiple orders to the same address with the Masterpiece Soundwave last year. They might do the same with this set.
It won’t make them widely-available and you’ll have to haunt tru.com, though.
I can’t explain how, but I managed to get an order through this morning (Friday) at 7:00am. It didn’t look like it was going to happen at first, but I was feeling stubborn. I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up and I half expect to get an email later today saying the order couldn’t be processed, but so far, it looks like it’s going through.
I just ordered it right now! 1:45pm CST. I was checking back periodically and all of a sudden I was able to add it to my cart. Hopefully it goes through.
BigBadToyStore has SDCC Danger at the Docks on their GI Joe page for pre-order; be advised the price is $74.99. I bit the bullet.
Yuck! That’s a horrible price. You are a richer (or more desperate) man than I.
More desperate (I wish it was richer). I really wanted it, I don’t have the time to drive around to Toys R’Us’es looking for it; and those sample shots of the Lady Jaye/Baroness two-pack made me willing to skip them.
And this version is an online only exclusive which I suspect is turning into an SDCC online during SDCC exclusive.
