Now these figures have been in mailboxes for like 2 weeks… has it been long enough that I can avoid spoilers? I know there are a number of folks who are drastically avoiding the discovery of which figures are shipping when, and I’m trying to honor those requests.
I kind of have to talk about them eventually, though, right?

I feel like a jerk; I thought this guy was common knowledge, so my signature at Hiss Tank for the past week has been a request to buy or trade the figure’s head. Oops.
Ha! I think it is pretty common knowledge at this point, I’m just being extra cautious. I think most folks know.
Justin, you should’ve dug out one of the Rise of Cobra missile launchers to really complete the look. 🙂
I like this one a lot, and, yeah, here’s hoping the FSS is the vehicle for the 1990 Joes. More figures like this one and I would’ve jumped on board.
This is my favourite subscription figure so far. That head sculpt is awesome and with the Dollar General Shipwreck now being my main Shipwreck figure in displays I have no issues with Shipwrecks old sculpt being used here, it works very well for Topside. It’s not a figure ill go crazy over but there’s a place on my shelf for him and I’m glad the Club made him. Nice pics!
I think Topside’s head would make an excellent updated version of Rock N’ Roll.
This was one of my most wanted figures from the FSS. I think this may be one of the best head sculpts at this scale ever. Topside was a very bland, insignificant character before, and now just by looking at his head, I can envision him as the ‘boy scout’ of the navy: a tough, experienced, stick-up-his-a**, stickler-for-the-rules, security officer that is always trying to keep slackers like Shipwreck in line.
P.S. Love the pics of the navy (and coast guard) guys hanging out on the TTBP.
