Continuing the GeneralsJoes “G.I. Joe Kre-O Week” we have just one review today, featuring the Cobra Armored Assault set. I suspect that most fans, myself included, picked up this set primarily for Flint, but they may find some other things to love here, too. Even though the Assault Vehicle is a nearly straight rehash of the one from the Battleship set, I agree that it has a Cobra aesthetic, and it’s fun. Moreso than Flint, I’m impressed with the “Heavy Trooper”, who reminds me a lot of the wave 1 Retaliation Trooper (sans parachute). The Joe quad looks very Tiger Claw (Paw?), too. If I can’t hold out ’til the next Kre-O wave, this will be the set I get another of.
