The two largest G.I. Joe Kre-O sets from the first series caused some mixed reactions with me…some very positive, but some not so much. You’ll have to check out the reviews to see which was which. Just noticed that the deco on the other Cobra Trooper in this set, has the cross straps with a buckle deco in the middle to make it look like he’s in a flight harness while piloting the Fang or Trouble Bubble.
About the Thunderwave set: Oxford Toys (the license-r of the Kre-O toys to Hasbro) has a nice twin-fan driven watercraft that, while small, could’ve subbed for the WHALE. Or at least the fan boat the Cobras drive around in “Retaliation”. The TTBP works better as the Joes’ version than the Battleship version, I think.
Great review, really making me wish that these were available in the UK! Really looking to farward to seeing the RAM!
The battle platform is my favorite set so far. I can not wait to see a Kreo Skyhawk come out so I can land it on the platform.
