- All-new direction for G.I. JOE continues!
This is not surprising at all… the G.I. Joe film for no reason put Scarlett with Ripcord… now Chunk is going to put her with this guy… Chunk just told what SE/SC fans what they wanted to her and lied his ass off
Chuck Dixon, who is such a tool, reminds me of so-called writers like Mike Carey, Austen, Milligan, and Gage (look at what they did with Gambit and Rouge in the X-Men) who come up with Soap opera storylines and teen drama romance. They have all somehow come to believe that the cool guy (Snake Eyes) should not be with a woman like Scarlett… she needs to fall for the asshole or the nerdy guy who pretty much stalks her and it all happens in record time. Since these writers were nerds growing up, the hot redhead needs to fall for someone like them…
When you come up with a character that’s nothing more than a blonde Mary Sue… you have no talent in writing. When you lie you’re ass off to such people like Snake Eyes/Scarlett fans that they’ll be a couple… you’re a douchebag
