The G.I. Joe: Retaliation film is delayed and the toys aisles are likely to be somewhat vacant this year as well… but there is still some very cool stuff coming our way this year, and tops on that list are the SDCC Exclusive Jinx figures.
Troy from The Toy Verse managed to get his hands on these figures, and has posted an awesome gallery for them right here. I’ve mirrored just a couple of the images below, but you should definitely check out The Toy Verse to take a peek at the full gallery.

So, I guess for the sake of faithfulness they kept the “FILE NAME: Classified” bit in there. Did anyone think maybe since they’ve had to officially rename the character Kim Arashikage or Kim “Jinx” Arashikage, not just throwing “Kim Arashikage” as the file name might’ve been warranted? And that if you think about it for all of one second, having classified on these cards come across as pretty stupid?
That’s what happens when you assign them to someone in the marketing department instead of having an actual writer tackle the job.
Larry Hama is a writer and he wrote the originals with Jinx and Snake eyes both having Classified or Top Secret as file card name.
Yeah, but his file cards didn’t go on to state the actual full name within the text of the filecard itself just two lines below where it says it’s “Classified”!
I didn’t know what you were talking about. I thought “the card doesn’t say ‘Classified,’ it says ‘Kim Arashikage’ right there big and bold at the top.”
Then I looked a little farther down. Yeah, that’s pretty funny.
I really want these…but I’m not going to pay more than $30 for them… which means I probably won’t get them…
