We had a little bit of a delay this week as my DVR choked and I had to wait until the 11:30pm repeat before watching the episode, grabbing the video, and writing up the review. I think the turnaround time was still pretty damn good. 😉
Check out the G.I. Joe: Renegades Episode Guide, or just hit up Episode 8 “Rage” directly right here. Lots of very cool Easter Eggs for Joe fans in this one. Enjoy!
destro has more than a wee bit of Eugene Krabs coming thru……..especially when he says “treasure”! funny.
i love clancy brown.
i wont comment on Scrap Iron…….frankly, i dont feel like defending my opinions today.
You know, it’s good to see a show like this that’s doing something different with this franchise. It’s taking a chance, giving us something both new (the storyline and plots) and old and familiar (original voice actor cameos, scenes from the comics appear here and there).
The animation doesn’t brother me in the slightest. I grew up watching such stuff like Heavy Metal (1981 film), Liquid Television, and Computer Animation Festival films (too many to list), which had all kinds of animation and artwork. Hell, I was able to watch such shows like Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Samurai Jack, Clone Wars series, Transformers Animated, and Turok: Son of Stone (2008 film), although it wasn’t just the animation and what wasn’t canon that kept me coming back to those series.
A hypocritical opinion is what you mean, always giving a smartass comment, acting as if you can’t tell anyone who is who. Somehow you were and didn’t have a problem with that in that god-awful film. You can’t follow your own so-called advice when it comes to hating a film or in this case, an animated TV series. Somehow what was canon and accurate didn’t matter in ROC… but somehow it matters like hell with this.
