How’s this for dedication? Even among four separate Christmas events over the past 24 hours and preparation for a fifth tomorrow, I’ve got the latest two episodes of G.I. Joe: Renegades added to the Episode Guide! Sure, they’re about 24 hours later than normal, but they’re there.
Truth is, the highlight of my week is doing these, and even though I made sure to carve out plenty of family time this weekend, I just had to put in some extra late night hours to get these posted. Check out the full episode reviews with tons of video as usual at the links below. As always, too, keep your browser pointed to the G.I. Joe: Renegades Supersite for the latest news and intel as it happens.
Merry Christmas!
For folks who don’t normally check out the Renegades stuff, you may want to… Episode Seven featured the Renegades debut of Private Skoog (AKA Tripwire) and callsign Stalker-1 (AKA Stalker!). A great 2-parter to be sure.
In Part 2 where The Baroness gets on the train… didn’t something like that happen in the Marvel G.I. Joe comic issue #1, 1982?

Stalker’s one of my favorites so on one hand it’s cool to see him but on the other hand since he appeared in a flashback he probably isn’t showing up again. Dag!
Renegades has been such a pleasant surprise. It’s blowing the last few attempts at Joe animation out of the water by a lot quite frankly. If only the character designs weren’t so caricaturish looking since I imagine that’s the biggest stumbling block for a lot of people.
You mean a lot of people are like you… pathetic and hypocrites? Picky, picky… you know if the type of animation being used was somehow ok for
Batman: The Animated Series
Superman: The Animated Series
Men in Black: The Series
Batman Beyond
X-Men: Evolution
Clone Wars series
The Batman (TV series)
TMNT (2003)
Transformers Animated
Turok: Son of Stone
Star Wars The Clone Wars series
Transformers: Prime
These series had distorted looking characters and some of them went on for 3 or 4 years or longer. If the animation was all right for them… then it’s ok with Renegades. This type of animation has been going on since the early to mid 90’s, stop acting as if you people just woke up to this. I never want to see this become Anime… anime sucks ass… Renegades is far better!
