We caught a glimpse of it during the announcement of the 12″ Dusty figure, and now it has been officially announced by Sideshow Collectibles. To go along with the Recon at Waypoint, Sideshow is releasing a new environment, the Desert Weapons Cache w/ Sandstorm.
Of course, what has really caught my eye is the desert themed Cobra Trooper in the set as well. Very cool.

never knew that. that came along after i decided that GI Joe (and toys in general) were too kiddie for me. (and obviously before i decided that GI Joe (and toys in general) werent too kiddie for me.
idve rathered gotten (even a repainted version of that vintage mold) that with my PoC Dusty in place of the barbed-wire.
dusty’s face looks a little weird….like a cross-eyed channing tatum…i don’t know what they were trying to achieve there but i can’t help feeling like they WANTED dusty to look simple-minded.
Interesting. Depending on the price I might be tempted to get this one. But then I’d have to get the Recon Waypoint one too. And I still have to pick up the Throne first though.
But yeah those Cobra Troopers are pretty sweet.
