Below are the Solicitations for IDW G.I. Joe related comics for April, 2010. Click the “Read the Rest of this Entry” link below for the full lowdown, and a big thanks to The Terror Drome for gathering all of this information together. Gotta say, the “Operation: HISS” comic is looking pretty intriguing. My feelings on the Rise of Cobra universe continue to eb and flow, but it’s cool to see the story expanded in comic form, and it sounds like it may tie into the new web-based animated series as well. Looking forward to it.

I was suprised to see the Cobra II series coming out. I’m sure I saw the announcement that it was going to happen but I don’t recall it so its a pleasant surprise. I really like the first series and even though the Crimson Twins one-shot wasn’t the slam-bang follow-up I wanted it didn’t sour me on the concept.
Not sure I’ll be grabbing the other continuity titles in singles. I’m following the main title and the Origins series but don’t think I’m ready to sink into another Joe title just yet. Probably get it in trades though.
Gotta ask about Larry Hama not being the writer of this Origins release. Is he alternating with this guy or is he off the book? Was kinda hoping it would be his baby for the long-term.
