Obviously these figures are getting out into collectors’ hands, images have been sprouting up online all over the place…but GeneralsJoes likes to go the extra mile, so I’ve posted a full blown point-by-point review of the figure, including over fifty images of this amazing toy with all of the various cool ass accessories.

Excellent review! I want!
Pretty cool figure, i’m gonna pop his head off for another completely different character. Justin, would it be possible for you to take a picture of him with a general hawk head? (25th anniversary version) please? please? pleaaaaaaaaase?
AWESOMESAUCE. This is the best direction for G.I. Joe yet! Finally, they are updating the futuristic stuff they did back in the 80’s. This guy is amazing! Looks like most of the Pursuit of Cobra line is gona be going back to Sigma 6 style in terms of accessories, which is great, because Joe has always been all about the accessories, for me! In fact, the accessories haven’t been this cool since Sigma 6!
By the way: Given the helmet, I’d love to see this repainted as an Annihilator.
That really is an awesome figure. Totally ripped right out of Metal Gear Solid 4. The only complaint I have, and it’s really minor, is that I was hoping to see him and other Pursuit of Cobra figures get brand new weapons.
Instant purchase, for sure.
Very nice. He’s got some interesting hooks on his ankles. Could a figure hold on to that while he “flew” around?
Thank you for this review; this is my most highly-anticipated action figure right now, and an obvious candidate for Figure of the Year in this scale for next year’s Poppies.
I am more bummed than anyone about the delay; I’ll be in the States for six weeks next summer and I’d planned to buy all this stuff then, but now it won’t be released until I’m back in Africa!
Nice review! Great pix and poses! I am just as excited as everyone else about the next wave of figures. I LOVE the new aesthetic they are going with.
BUT I am saddened to read that his arms don’t bend for realistic gun grips. That is just unacceptable. I thought we were over that, as most movie toys had no problem with it.
