Shin Densetsu over at HissTank.com reports on an image that finally reveals the Arctic COBRA Commander rumored to be released in comic pack form earlier this year. Obviously based on his Resolute look, it’s a pretty neat version of the COBRA leader, and a nice peek at a figure that may never see the light of day. Check the image mirrored below.
I am hopeful that this figure will get “Seeded” into the toyline at a later date.
I’m gonna make a wild speculation: I think that Resolute CC is a female, whose voice is disguised by the mask. That’d be a twist, eh?
That’s an awesome figure. Hope to get a chance to own one someday.

Skirt looks crappy, and the rest is just Resolute Cobra Commander with General Hawk arms.
Looks alrightish (colours are good), but yeah, no big loss that it’s not coming out.

I see the skirt, and the pale blue, and all I can think is that this must be “pretty pretty princess Cobra Commander.”
Nas, I didn’t even go. Nor will I pay to see it in any capacity. But I’ve read the script and I’ve been told all of the pertinent information a Joe fan needs to know. And I know that as a Joe fan, it sucks. And I’ve been told that as a movie, it also sucks.
So yeah. I’m pretty glad I’ve avoided it. And for as bad as it is, if they greenlight a sequel and I see Cobra Commander wearing the proper attire, I’ll go see it.
Commander… i couldn’t do anything less than agree with you, that movie stinks in every way possible.
While there are admittedly a few things about the Rise of COBRA that aren’t perfection, it was still fun like I expected. In truth it was exactly as good as the first X-Men movie.
But back to the point, this figure is marred IMHO by adding winter clothing elements to the existing uniform design. If he actually was wearing a coat over his uniform it would not look like a dress. As it is, it IS a dress.

This Resolute Cobra Commander could also be considered “Whirling Dervish Cobra Commander”. Perhaps he/she would do some crazy spin moves while firing the weapon? A Russian sword dance?
Gotta love fanboys hating on a movie they’ve never seen. Brilliant.
I’ve seen enough of it through its merchandise and through reading the script that was shot to know to avoid it like the plague.
