- Images leaked the evening before the reveal, showcasing the figure, its press pictures and even a packaging image.
- This figure represents a Classified update of the 1988 version of Storm Shadow, which featured the character’s transition from COBRA to the G.I. Joe team.
- The designers added a little design flair of armor on Storm Shadow’s chest and waist piece to modernize his look somewhat.
