- Both the Zartan and Storm Shadow were made available for pre-order during the Wal-Mart Collectors Con in July, 2022
- The retro Zartan has a blue chest plate and thigh pads to mimic how he was represented in the Sunbow animated series when struck by sunlight. It could also be considered an homage to the blue skin the vintage Zartan had when exposed to sun as well.
