- Based upon a popular repaint of Destro initially titled “Pimp Daddy Destro”, the Profit Director moniker was a tribute to the “PDD” abbreviation while steering clear of questionable terminology.
- Pimp Daddy Destro was initially a pre-production version of the 1997 release of the figure, but took on a cult-like status, repainted in the 25th Anniversary as an SDCC exclusive as well.
