- 60th Anniversary Action Soldier (Infantry) was one of several reveals throughout a streaming event via Hasbro Pulse on December 7th, 2023
- Alongside the 60th Anniversary Action Sailor (Recon Diver), the Action Soldier was released as a tribute and a celebration of G.I.Joe’s 60th Anniversary, using the 1960s twelve inch figures as an inspiration.
- The Action Soldier should be priced at the Deluxe price point for G.I. Joe: Classified, MSRP of $34.99
- Both the Action Sailor and Action Soldier were developed as army builders, packaged with an arsenal of weaponry and swappable heads for added customization
- Hasbro is experimenting with soft goods by including a camouflage patterned poncho with the Action Soldier, which also features sewn pockets to hold items.
- The tactical vest that comes with the Action Soldier features removable and customizable pouch configurations for further differentiation with army building
