- Alongside the 60th Anniversary Action Soldier (Infantry), the Action Sailor was released as a tribute and a celebration of G.I.Joe’s 60th Anniversary, using the 1960s twelve inch figures as an inspiration.
- The Action Sailor should be priced at the Deluxe price point for G.I. Joe: Classified, MSRP of $34.99
- Both the Action Sailor and Action Soldier were developed as army builders, packaged with an arsenal of weaponry and swappable heads for added customization
