- Gnawgahyde was first announced for pre-order at a Hasbro streaming event on February 29, 2024.
- This figure is part of Hasbro’s “Deluxe with animal” price point at $44.99, similar to releases like Mutt and Junkyard
- Gnawgahyde comes complete with his pet boar “Porkbelly” but unlike the vintage figure, also includes a monkey named “Yobbo”
- Gnawgahyde continues a relative flood of Dreadnok releases, following Zarana, Buzzer, Ripper and Torch, which will be coming later in 2024
- Like the vintage version, Porkbelly the boar comes complete with a spiked ring in its nose
- The pattern of Gnawgahyde’s leopard print jacket was painstakingly detailed from an actual sample of leopard print
- Gnawgahyde’s exposed teeth were made from a scan of the sculptor’s own dental work!
