- This set of figures was first revealed at Hasbro PulseCon in September, 2023 and was available for pre-order on that date
- The Crimson Strike Team is based upon a 2002 Convention Set from the G.I. Joe Collectors Club who first introduced the idea of the Crimson Strike Team to G.I. Joe history. Since then, the theme has carried forward through several iterations of the Real American Hero brand
- This set is primarily made of existing tooling, though The Baroness has newly tooled arms with better range of motion and a secondary head sculpt with a tech-oriented face mask
- The Crimson Strike Team was designed to work alongside the Chuckles SDCC exclusive with similarly themed packages and a story that carries over between both sets, similar to Serpentor and Dr, Mindbender from 2022
