Rock Krusher I'm somewhat sad to say is probably one of my least favorite figures from the first series of C.O.P.S. & Crooks. He wears the uniform of an escaped convict like a prize and comes with some interesting accessories, but essentially against fully armed police officers, I'm just not sure how much a serious threat I find him.

In the comics at least, he's shown as being a huge, ruthless criminal, and I do like that about him...he seems to be one of the more clever and conniving of the Crooks, managing to escape prison on a regular basis, but the figure just doesn't do a whole lot to wow me. His mold is somewhat bulky with large muscles, and well sculpted clothing. You've got the typical striped convict shirt which hasn't been seen for years, and is, again, an homage to the classic gangster days of old. His face sculpt looks kind of...odd and doesn't really fit how the character is portrayed, and I'm not that wild about it. His thick arms and legs are shackled by some nicely hued silver metal gauntlets, which brings some life to the mold, but not much.

The colors here are just...bland. Plain grays are throughout with some black stripes and little silver bits thrown in...the figure just doesn't look all that exciting. The accessories don't help a whole lot either, coming merely with a backpack, jackhammer, and wrecking ball/ball and chain type of weapon, that doesn't leave Rock Krusher with much defense against firearm-wielding law officers, and doesn't make for a very exciting accessory compliment.

All in all, Rock Krusher was featured pretty heavily in the cartoons and comics, but that doesn't really help the figure in my opinion. Folks who want to complete their collection will no doubt want to buy it anyway, which is fine, because he is generally very cheap, even MOC. Don't get wrapped into paying too much for him, though, as the toy itself really isn't all that much fun.
