Bullseye has the dubious distinction of being one of the only figures from series one that I did not have as a kid. There were a number of series two figures that I never really saw back then, but I had everyone in series one, except Bullseye. As luck would have it, he just happened to be one of the cooler figures in that first series as well. I'm not sure why, but for whatever reason, Hasbro decided to make the vehicle drivers in both series some of the best figures of the line. It's a double edged sword because you want the vehicles to be desirable, but at the same time, you hope that the carded figures would be cool as well, to draw fans in over all.

The Air Raid copter is no doubt the flagship of the figure line, being large, elaborate, and a lot of fun...but it was also something I never saw in stores back then, and didn't get a chance to enjoy until recently. I was pretty impressed with the helicopter, but I was even more impressed with Bullseye himself. Most of the first series C.O.P.S. were throwbacks in style to the past with just hints of future elements...but Bullseye looked pretty futuristic from top to bottom, and is essentially very, very successful as a figure.

The mold is sleek and streamlined with a nice hint of futuristic flightsuit. The sculpting retains an almost leathery appearence and the rippled padding throughout adds a nice bulk and some cool detailing. The figure itself looks pretty muscular, but still slim and is nicely movable and different. There is a small, slim jetpack built into the figure's back which is a great addition in and of itself, giving him a cool new element, even when he's outside of the Air Raid helicopter.

The colors used are pretty cool as well, with a nicely different blue color with white trimming. His sloped helmet looks great in white, and compliments the rest of his color scheme very well, bringing the entire figure together seamlessly. The helmet is his only included accessory, but the sculpted, sloping flight helmet is a very nicely designed accessory. I really dig it.

Overall, this figure can be somewhat tough or expensive to find. Included with the Air Raid, which is the largest C.O.P.S. vehicle, sometimes he can be tough to track down. He can be found loose somewhat inexpensively, and even sometimes when included with the vehicle itself. If you can find him, he is worth a purchase...like all other vehicle drivers, he's a very cool addition.
