Name: Rex "Bowser" Pointer (and his K-9000 unit, Blitz)

History: Officer Pointer was a K9 officer in the Chicago PD and became very well known for being more in tune with his animal compatriots than his human ones. With the help of his various K-9 partners, Officer Pointer collared a record number of criminals and gained the attention of Longarm and the C.O.P.S. team. He was test-training a new, state of the art K-9000 unit when he joined up with the C.O.P.S., and his partnership with Blitz has proven to be just as successful as the regular animals he teamed with.

Distinguishing Features: Officer Bowser has a thick, bushy moustache and more often than not can be seen with his K-9000 sidekick Blitz. They work together and spend more time together than is probably healthy, but such a rapport is vital for their success.
