I have to give big thanks to Morgardee for his help with this review...but I just gotta take some pics of my own, too! :)
As you can see in these pics, Rollbar is quite straight-laced and pretty military-accurate...which, unfortunately (to me, anyway) equals boring. He's got a plain dress green uniform, which is sculpted very, very nicely, but with a lack of detail and "over the top" touches that the other Joes end up with, he just stands out from the crowd.
I do think the head sculpt is pretty nicely done, and his filecard kind of gives him a Vin Diesel personallity, which is odd, but I guess it could work. Definitely a nice figure execution wise, but a little lacking in the concept, in my opinion.
Since I had spent some time with the fully-functional prototype, there really wasn't a whole lot to surprise me once I got my hands on the final piece. It retains the immaculate detailing and fully-loaded features and adds the fantastic camouflage paint deco. All in all, a superb piece, even though it's a little too realistic (compared to other Joe vehicles, of course) it still works very well, and will see extensive use from me.
Pick it up when you see it. Do not hesitate.
